nothing smart about smart phones

It's so sad... Those parents are so distracted they are missing out on everything that's actually happening in front of them.  In stead of bringing a smart phone, i bring my digital camera so I can take pictures and video of my kids. Also, I don't own a smart phone so I can't bring it even if I want to...

1st day of 1st grade

My oldest daughter entered 1st grade today.  I don't remember my first day because it was a long time ago but I know what it's like to be nervous.  No matter how much you prepare (new clothes, new backpack, new underwear, etc) you gonna be nervous if you are that type of person.  Eventually, we all get used to it.
